MANCHESTER'S NO.1 PARTY TENT HIRE SERVICE
Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions In regards to the following Terms and Conditions, Parties Complete shall be referred to as "The company" and The client wishing to hire equipment or structures shall be referred to as "The hirer".


 Whilst setup in underway 'The hirer' and members of the hirers party MUST NOT enter the structure until completion, this is for the safety of all involved and for insurance purposes. We reserve the right to postpone setup if this is not adhered to.


Payment (I)



(1.1) Deposit payments can be paid by the following methods, Online via our website www.partiescomplete.co.uk or BACS transfer, this goes for both deposit payments and payments in full if paid for in advance. Any remaining balance minus the deposit will need to be paid by Cash on Delivery / Completion. 


 


Damages (II)


(2.1) Any damages caused to the structure or equipment whilst in ‘the hirers’ possession will need to be repaired, if damages are non-repairable they will need to be replaced at ‘the hirers’ expense, this also goes for missing or lost equipment which will need replacing.


(2.2) ‘The company’ reserve the right to charge an additional 5% per week for any unpaid charges. A product price list can be obtained by ‘the hirer’ upon request. Payments must be made by cash, cheque or PayPal.


Cancellations (III)

(3.1) ‘The company’ reserves the right to cancel along with refunding any deposits made in the event of extreme/adverse weather condition i.e. storms, gale force winds. A final decision will be made within 24 hours of the event date up until the event start time. If we are still able to attend in the hope of setting up we will look at many factors when coming to a final decision such as location of setup, how exposed the structure will be to the winds etc etc. If wind speeds and gusts turn out to be far too strong then we will have to cancel on site. However if there are any concerns leading up to the event date then we will inform all customers within 48 hours on our concerns while we continue to monitor the weather. This will be for the safety of all concerned.

(3.3) Deposits & paid will be forfeit in the event of a cancellation however this only applies if cancellation is made within 14 days of the hire date this also applies to bookings created within the 14 day run up to the event date. If cancelled over 14 days in advance then deposit will be refunded minus a £20 admin fee which will be deducted from the refund amount.


(3.4) If 'The Hirer' decides to cancel their booking on the day or up to 72 hours before the event date then 'The Hirer' will be liable to pay 50% of the total booking cost. These rules are in place due to the potential loss in business for 'The Company'


Hirers Sole Responsibility (IV)


(4.1) It is 'The Hirers' sole responsibility to make sure the size of the marquee booked WILL fit into the desired space. In the event of the marquee being too big to fit into the desired space of erection then we will not be able to continue with setup and any remaining balance will still be due. Please make sure to double check if needs be.


(4.2) As ‘The Hirer’ is solely responsible for anything that happens within the structure the following will need to be adhered to.


 


I. The workspace for ‘The Company’ to erect structure should be clean and free from any animal droppings (we will not be able to setup if area is not clear of this).

II. ‘The Hirer’ Must make sure the structure is not over crowded at anytime, please refer to website for recommended bodies in structure at any one time as this could resort into being a safety hazard.

III. ‘The Hirer’ or anyone besides ‘The Company’ should not enter the structure whilst setup is in progress for insurance purposes

IV. ‘The Hirer’ must make sure fixtures and fittings are not to be tampered with at any time.

V. ‘The Hirer’ must not use any heating, cooking (including B.B.Q), and electrical appliances inside the structure at any given unless it has been sanctioned by ‘The Company’
